This blog aims at creating a community for our colleagues in a course in MA of TESOL, cohort12, University of Canberra (ACT), teachers who are interested in collaborating and developing his/ her teaching profession, and learners who want to seek advice and find practice materials to improve their English proficiency. Here you can find useful lessons, lesson plans, journals, teaching methods and resources composed or collected through our learning and teaching experience.

As a teacher, you may ask why we must collaborate. First, this is one of the affordable ways for professional development. There are problems that you can never find a solution yourself, and minor weaknesses in your teaching that you are never aware of. Sharing your problems with a community is a great way to find solutions and suggested improvements. Secondly, your modest inventions can help hundreds, or thousands of learners if they are further improved and widely employed by other enthusiastic teachers of English. Just think that every teacher contributes a few ideas, we will end up with hundreds of teaching methods. That should be enough to develop you yourself and this community of teachers and learners. Thirdly, this is a great chance to practice, if not demonstrate, your academic writing. Of course, it does not have to be professional, but you will be proud of yourself when you show this modest blog to your students, you colleagues or your new employer, which is created by you, by me and by other energetic teacher writers.

Whenever you feel like ready to be a writer in this blog, email me.
Yours,

Teehee™
